Project TREAT

Treatment- Recovery- Empower- Assist - Transcend

Project TREAT is an offender-reentry program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMSHA) to expand substance use disorder treatment, co-occurring disorder treatment, and related wrap around recovery services to individuals returning to their communities from incarceration.

Eligible individuals will have a diagnosed substance use disorder/or co-occurring disorder, have been sentenced to at least 3 months in a correctional institution (jail/prison/detention center), or have violated parole and be currently serving at least one month in a correctional institution. Eligible individuals do not have to be insured.

Project TREAT offers individual and family counseling, substance use disorder treatment (including medication assisted treatment) or co-occurring disorder treatment, case management, transportation assistance, peer support, prevention education, and HIV/AIDS and STD screening.

Project TREAT utilizes person-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to provide a comprehensive treatment to the individual.
